My first . . . batting cage experience

I headed to Whitemud amusement park yesterday too, to have a go in the batting cages. Its called an amusement park but really it was tiny, more like a small permanent fun fair with not much there!!! I went in the medium speed baseball cage which fired the ball 40mph and it was still pretty fast (the fast one was 75mph). The first ball flew right past me as I got fed up of waiting and stopped looking, the next one I was too far away, so I stepped closer, and the third smacked me right on the knuckle so now I can't use my right index finger too well!!! Hopefully its just swelling that will go down in a few days, otherwise tuff luck, I'm not paying to see someone to tell me that they can't do anything! After this rude wake up call I managed to belt the rest and just pretended that I wasn't in agony!! Was good fun and another experience to add to the list. I prefer rounders though!!!
